Event description

Description

With the announcement about the new structure of 11+ entrance exams at 12 top London girls’ schools, parents of Year 5s or below will be wondering how this will affect their daughters. Holland Park's Director of Consulting, Camilla Smiley, will aim to demystify the news and ensure that parents feel confident in what it means. We will discuss:

- What is meant by ‘cognitive ability’ and how it is usually tested

- The objectives behind this move and why the schools think this will be a more effective test

- How girls can be preparing for the new test and whether 11+ preparation should be adapted

The schools adopting this new system are: Channing School, Francis Holland (Regent’s Park and Sloane Square), Godolphin and Latymer School, More House School, Northwood College, Notting Hill and Ealing High School, Queen’s College, Queen’s Gate School, South Hampstead High School, St. Helen’s School, St. James’ Senior School
