Allergy UK's free to attend Paediatric Asthma and Allergy Study Day for Primary Care Nurses will focus on a range of different topics including:
• The Benefit of Identifying Allergic Triggers
• Diagnostic Testing within an Allergy Clinic
• What it Means if a Child has Allergic Asthma and Rhinitis
• Practical Aspects of Devices and Resources Used in the Allergic Patient
• A Range of Case Studies
Attendees will also be able to claim their CPD points.
We are pleased to announce that as well as Allergy UK's Head of Clinical Services, Amena Warner, we also have two other expert speakers to share their knowledge at the Masterclass:
Trevor Brown is a Consultant Paediatric Allergist at the Ulster Hospital in Belfast.
James Gardner is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Main Allergy Clinic at the Great North Children’s Hospital.
The Allergy UK Masterclasses were a great success in 2016. Our expert speakers discussed the latest findings in the field of allergy, held interactive quizzes and workshops, and presented patient case studies, to help educate and support healthcare professionals in their continuing education of allergic disease.
Here are a few testimonials of previous Masterclasses:
Vicki Shannon: I thought this was an extremely useful day – I will be able to take a lot of what I have learnt into practice.
Alison Bailey: The presentations were brilliant. They should have been mandatory in SCPHN training. You do everything very well.
Angela Mezue: Very informative study day, will appreciate invitations for future sessions.
Fiona Brooks: All excellent presentations. Thank you! I learnt a lot. I will pass on to my colleague.
Ailsa Roger: Excellent workshop. Very useful practical advice to use in everyday practice. Good provision of resources and sign posting to further information.
Pamela Thomas: Good presentations, enjoyed the day, very informative conference, I will recommend!
