Our New 2021 GP Afternoons Series, run in collaboration with RCGP, is launching in webinar format! Interactive Q&A and access to recording.
About this event
The Allergy Academy is delighted to announce our 2021 GP Afternoon Series! We are running a series of paired afternoons on a range of cross-specialty subjects, in association with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). These paired afternoons are designed to cover a wide range of clinical conditions including dermatological, gastrointestinal, and ENT/respiratory disorders. Each set will be delivered during two afternoon sessions to enhance accessibility to these live-streamed events during the COVID period.
These are live-streamed recorded events. Delegates will be able to ask questions during the presentations, which will be answered through the speaker-chair Q&A sessions afterwards. Recordings of these afternoons will be available, to ensure greater flexibility to access the material and expertise.
This programme will focus on common gastrointestinal disorders in infants and children and will examine the role of non-IgE mediated food allergies and nutrition in the management of children. Expertise will be drawn from a panel of imminent speakers to discuss the most up-to-date preventive strategies, diagnostic tests, and treatments for patients with allergic and non-allergic gastrointestinal disease.
The course is suitable for all healthcare professionals caring for patients with food allergies, including dietitians, doctors and allied health care professionals.
The first afternoon will take place on Thursday 27th May and the second afternoon will take place on Thursday 17th June.
