We often hear the phrase, ‘People are our most valuable and important asset’ but often many organisations struggle to get the best out of their most valuable asset because they just don’t know how.
In a world where there are numerous challenges to deal with - from self-directing teams, mindfulness and wellbeing to Brexit - Alliance Manchester Business School is pleased to launch the HR Issues Forum.
The aim of the forum is to provide a space for HR specialists to discuss such issues in an open, honest way and in a safe environment. We’re not about providing solutions but about listening to what issues you and your organisation face. We have academic faculty who are doing great research around many of the topic areas that make up the agenda for HR professionals and when invited, they can provide great insights.
During our inaugural event in December, you’ll have the opportunity to talk through the challenges you’re facing with HR colleagues as well as Alliance MBS experts. A keynote presentation "Mental Capital & Wellbeing in the Workplace" will be delivered by Alliance Manchester Business School’s 50th Anniversary Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health, Sir Cary Cooper, who was recently inducted into HR magazine’s Most Influential Hall of Fame.
