Ally Skills Training - by OLS (formerly Open Life Science)

An ally is a member of a social group that enjoys some societal advantages. They work to understand their own privilege and take conscious actions to step up for others, when it is safe for them to do so.

The OLS team members have been trained under Frameshift Consulting and have previously conducted ally workshops at European Molecular Biology Laboratory, The Whitaker Lab at the Alan Turing Institute, CarpentryCon @ Home and as part of the Open Life Science cohort, training hundreds of trainees.

We may be able to offer low-cost tickets and fee waivers for members interested in participating at this event who would otherwise not be able to attend.
