Alphabet 12 March 22nd Special Session

Birmingham’s Project Aspie Second Series of ‘Alphabet 12’ started Saturday 29 October 2016 at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, B3 3DH.
‘Alphabet 12’ is an Autism Opportunity Group for people with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism.
Wednesday 22nd March 2017 is a Special Session of ‘Alphabet 12’ which will be focused on ‘Autism and Employment’ and will feature various Guest Speakers including Lead Guest Speakers Auticon which is an award-winning IT and compliance consulting business based in London.
All Auticon consultants are on the autism spectrum. Auticon pride themselves in creating autism positive work environments as well as delivering outstanding quality to our clients. Auticon consultants receive permanent employment contracts at Auticon and work on client projects that match their skills and expertise. They usually work within the client’s project team.
Auticon offer projects in software testing, development, data and compliance, next to other areas. All Auticon consultants are offered the support of our in-house job coaches and project managers, who ensure an autism-friendly work environment.
Antonia Hatzfeldt is Auticon’s first UK-based job coach and looks after the recruitment process. Antonia studied Communication and International Human Resource Management in Vienna and London. During her studies she worked for several companies in the area of HR and communications across Europe and also worked for schools in Burma and Munich to support less fortunate adults and teenagers with disabilities.

Project Aspie – ‘Alphabet 12’:
Project Aspie launched ‘Alphabet 12’ an interactive and versatile Autism Opportunity Group for people with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism to gain opportunities to live healthy and independent lives within the community.
This will be beneficial for people with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism.
It is free and is suitable for people who meet the following criteria:
Who have Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism
Living in Birmingham and West Midlands region
Wanting to meet other people with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism
‘Alphabet 12’ will offer Service Users the chance to explore opportunities that will bring Confidence and Motivation.
This will include various Subjects Themes including Creative Arts, Education, Employment, Health and much more.
Audience for 'Alphabet 12' also includes Advocates, Carers, Families, Parents, Siblings and Support Workers to name some examples.
Various Guest Speakers from different ages, backgrounds, cultures and professions feature on every monthly session of ‘Alphabet 12’.
The Special Session of ‘Alphabet 12’ takes place on Wednesday 22nd March 2017 at The Learning Zone, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery between 2.30 pm till 4.30 pm
Arrival / Registration takes place 2.20 pm.
