Description

St Pancras Station opened 150 years ago this year. it had a dramatic impact then on the ancient Church and Churchyard and today it captures the public imagination like no other station.

This Pancrastide guided walk will explore the history, drama, events and colourful personalities, discovering how writers, comedians and artists have been inspired. Lester Hillman, a planner and accredited guide, will share five decades of involvement in the development of today’s St Pancras International and the transformation of the neighbourhood.

Walk options beginning at 11.00am or 2.30pm, meeting at the statue to Sir John Betjeman on the Upper Concourse of St Pancras Station. Walks are 90 minutes and will finish at St Pancras Old Church.
