About this event

Fashion • Fashion

This September, Alterist joins Love Camden to celebrate 60 years of Camden’s iconic fashion legacy with free customisations on Camden High Street!

We’ll be upcycling your pre-loved garments with live painting, turning your clothes into one-of-a-kind wearable art. Just bring along something you’ve fallen out of love with and watch Alterist designers transform it in real time.

Meet The Designers

Olli Hull

Olli Hull is a London-based artist and designer turning second-hand clothing into expressive, hand-painted wearable art. Their work blends illustration and fashion to explore queerness, identity, and protest — while championing sustainability and radical self-expression. With collaborations spanning Underground London to Omoda, and features in Attitude, Tatler, and Kaltblut, Olli’s raw, emotionally honest designs reclaim clothing as a space for both creativity and resistance.

Khatz Daniel

Khatz Daniel is a London-based fashion designer whose practice moves between deconstruction and philosophy. Each garment is a one-of-one response — shaped by memory, instinct, and fragments of the subconscious. For Daniel, design is ritual: a way of giving form to what can’t always be said, crafted with precision and emotional depth. His work resists mass production, creating clothing as singular as the individuals who wear it.

Note: You can use the link to put the date in the diary, but all customisations will be on a first come, first serve basis.

About the Full Event

On Saturday 21st September, Camden at 60: Camden Catwalk will transform Camden High Street into an open-air runway and sustainable fashion hub. In partnership with TAMMAM, the day features hands-on workshops, clothes swaps, and culminates in a catwalk showcasing reimagined, sustainable fashion from local and emerging talent.

By bringing together Camden’s creative heritage and the energy of today’s upcycling movement, the event highlights the borough’s past, present, and future as a hub of style and cultural innovation.
