The businesses that attend our Alternative Networking Events really feel that they are part of something special. Our members are building connections, doing business together, referring clients, but more importantly they are aware of their responsibilities to support clearly and effectively within their local community. We have a unique way for you to connect with other business owners in a more informal and natural environment. People that work together naturally talk and connect together. Building trusting, honest, valuable connections whilst supporting local community projects, social enterprises, CIC's and charities. No membership fee's & No pressure just pure honest people, that feel that giving back in a small way makes a great start to the day. Don't just take our word for it, come and roll up your sleeves at our next event. Each event costs £10.00 if you book through our website (£12.00 through EventBrite) Vist our website to see all of our events and book www.irollupmysleeves.co.uk

When & Where
I Roll Up My Sleeves
I know what team work is all about and how important it is. The Royal Navy and merchant navy certainly taught me this over 10 years at the start of my career path. Then a single dad to my now 19 year old son before a successful career in sales as a BDM spanning 15 years across the UK. It is true what they say about how things can effect you and change how you see the world. My two definitive moments are the passing of my father in 2013 and the tearing of the Meniscus in my knee in 2015 which has brought me on a path to have a positive impact on my local community and future.
Look forward to talking more at one of our events.
I Roll Up My Sleeves was set up in 2016 as a Social Enterprise after volunteering for Millennium Farm Trust and realising that many charities need time more than money from local businesses. Having attended many events around the UK I know that most of the already existing business networking events are all very similar. A view shared by many businesses like us are people wanting to do more for a variety of local smaller charities, CIC's & community organisations led us to set up a revolutionary way for businesses to support these organisations. By offering time and being able to support more than one organisation, which in turn is a positive step towards your social responsibilities without just making financial donations for a bit of PR. Our alternative business networking events are the perfect way for any type/size of business to not only promote your business/services but to actually make positive growth for your business and make a difference in your local community. Our attendees and organisations know only too well the meaning of 'Team' Together Everyone Achieves More.
