Description

As part of the Distinguished Alumni Guest Lecture Series, Simon Beddow, partner in the Corporate Division at Ashurst will be giving a lecture on "What being a corporate lawyer in the City really involves".

Open to ALL University of Bristol Law students.

​Simon is a partner in the Corporate Division in London and has been a partner since 1998. The major focus of his practice is private equity transactions and private company M&A.

Simon has a particular focus on corporates in the gaming and manufacturing industries. Many of the deals on which Simon works are cross-border and he has experience of leading deals in the UK, France and Germany.

He was based in the Ashurst Paris office in 2004 and between 2005 and 2009 was based in Ashurst's offices in Frankfurt and Munich. Simon also has experience in a wide range of company transactions including Infrastructure M&A, IPOs and capital raisings.
