Alumni 2018

The Master's degree in Communication and Deafblindness at the University of Groningen is a unique programme during which students acquire theoretical and methodological skills to analyse communication in situations that are specific to the field of deafblindness. Each year alumni of the master organise a seminar for alumni, current students of the master, colleagues from the field of Congenital Deafblindness and students and staff of the university.

This year we will have a second Alumni event, in September. The September Alumni will now be over two days, and offers the opportunity for Alumni to attend the Graduation Ceremony for this years students. Now we can hear the graduating students present their research, and stay up to date with new developments.

Not only that, but the second day of the Alumni will be on the topic of Moving Together - Co-creating Meaning Within the Bodily Tactile Modality. This will be a day of presentations, workshops and video analysis sessions, on the subject of partner competence, movement, and creativity.

Wednesday 26th September 2018: Presentations from graduating students (followed by graduation ceremony). Starts at 9am.

Thursday 27th September: Moving Together – Co-creating Meaning Within the Bodily Tactile Modality.
