Event description

Description

Every year as part of Imperial Festival, we invite alumni back to South Kensington for Alumni Weekend. In the run up to the weekend, we invite our alumni groups around the world to get involved in the celebrations and hold events in their own cities, alongside the main event in London.

Join your local Taipei group for an exciting day out. In their words,

"Join us for a journey of cultural discovery and fun on a weekend afternoon. Imperial College Alumni Association in Taiwan (ICAAT) is organizing a tour at the world-renowned National Palace Museum followed by a very Taiwanese shrimp fishing in a nearby venue where we will also feast on the local "Re-Chao" cuisine.

Don’t worry if you can’t swim. We will go shrimp fishing in style! We will have fun in a comfortable in-door environment. The venue provides all necessary fishing gears and cooking facility for you to enjoy your fresh catches!"

Ticket price to be paid in person on the day : Museum entrance fee 350NTD and shrimp fishing fee and dinner ca. 500NTD.

Please note that as this event is being managed and hosted by the local alumni group, your name will be shared with them in order to effectively manage the event.
