Event Details

Alzheimers Dementia Support (‘ADS’) is a local charity operating in Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, Langley & all points between.  'ADS' Dementia Awareness Training has been designed to increase awareness of dementia, by exploring some of the signs and symptoms of dementia and how they may present.  

The use of short videos and written extracts demonstrates what it may be like to live with dementia.  By the end of the session delegates should have increased confidence & understanding of dementia. (further course content available on request).

If you are unable to attend this session then there are additional dates available:

  • Tuesday 28th March:  10am-12pm
  • Thursday 6th April : 10am-12pm
  • Thursday 4th May : 1pm-3pm
  • Tuesday 30th May: 1pm-3pm
  • Wednesday 7th June:  1pm-3pm
  • Tuesday 4th July: 10am-12pm
  • Thursday 10th August: 1pm-3pm

 

'ADS' Dementia Awareness Training can also be offered locally at your facility for larger groups of delegates - Please contact Laura to discuss your training needs.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Train: 'ADS' office is in Maidenhead Town Centre and is a 6 minute walk from Maidenhead Train Station.

Bus: Maidenhead Town Centre is well serviced by buses

Car: Short & Long stay Parking , Nicholson's Car Park (pay on exit) or Hines Meadow Car Park (Pay & Display - 11minute walk)
