Join specialist in Amarna archaeology, Lucia Gahlin as she gives her insights into this fascinating period. The Amarna period comes during the latter half of the 18th Dynasty when the royal residence of the pharaoh and his queen was shifted to Akhetaten (the archaeological site, Amarna). Gahlin will shed light on this period, one of Ancient Egypt’s most exciting, highlighting some of the Petrie Museum’s finest examples and referencing the current exhibition 'Akhenaten: Heretic, Visionary and Icon'.
