AMBITION (the musical) preview matinee
Sat 6 May 2017, 15:00 – 16:30 BST
Hide the truth, whatever the cost. When Mansford decides to manufacture a boy band, she realises the price of ambition is greater than she thought. This new musical, commissioned by Hampshire Music Service, will leave you asking, how much are you prepared to pay for your success?
Directed by Helen Jones, AMBITION is the hottest ticket in town.
Words by Zella Compton, with music by Tom Guyer and David Cefai.
Running time circa 75 minutes.
BE ONE OF THE FIRST AUDIENCE MEMBERS FOR THIS BRAND NEW MUSICAL.
This is a preview show, prior to AMBITION taking centre stage at:
The Berry Theatre, Hedge End, Friday 12 May.
New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth, Saturday 13 May. (tickets from relevant theatres).
Find out more by searching @ambitionmusical on facebook.
AMBITION's cast is formed by students who live, or study, in Hampshire.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but given the nature of the show, a musical about a boy band, we suggest that children over the age of eight will probably enjoy it more than very young children. There are no swear words, but there are themes such as sexual attraction.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is parking on the school site.
What can I bring into the event?
Yourself! Refreshments will be available to purchase on site.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please - or have an electronic copy downloaded to your mobile device.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
What if I have ordered a ticket, but can't make it?
Please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite. This means we know that we'll have a spare seat or two, and can allocate it to someone else.
Why is the preview free?
Because we're super nice. And also, because although you'll see an amazing show, with live music, the cast want to use the preview for feedback prior to moving to the theatres. You might be asked your opinion which might have a direct effect on what happens on the bigger stage.
Can I see it again?
Of course! Contact the theatres listed to buy a ticket for either the Hedge End, or Portsmouth show. (The Berry, Hedge End, 12 May, New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth, 13 May).
