On 23 October, Ambitious Women in Essex (AWiE) continues its series of events in collaboration with Essex County Council Libraries service, for our first visit to Billericay Library.
These events will include an opportunity to learn about business support provided through the venue.
What can I expect from an Ambitious Women Meet Up?
AWiE meet ups are the pefect opportunity to connect and network with a vibrant community of like-minded women in business. These sessions are very relaxed, simply turn up when you can, stay as long as you like, there is no expectation on you to do anything other than enjoy yourself and talk to as many members of the community you feel comfortable chatting to.
We normally invite 1 or 2 guest speakers, who are members of the business community to share their stories with our attendees. This will either be a look at their career journey, any insight into running a business, or focussing on a particular area of their business. If this sounds like something you may wish to take part in for a future event, please email ambitiouswomen@essex.gov.uk to discuss further.
On the day - Please be sure to sign the register to let us know you have attended. If you have given us prior permission and confirmed your attendance, we share your details with all attendees post-event so you can continue to make great connections.
Photography - We always try and take some pictures on our phones during the event to share on social media afterwards. If you would rather not be featured, please let us know on the day when you arrive. Be sure to find us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for post-event photos!
