Event description
HJS is delighted to invite you to U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp's talk about America's role in the world under President Donald Trump.

About this Event

President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” election campaign was centered on one basic theme: that for the past 70 years the United States has been taken advantage of by the rest of the world. President Trump won the presidential election promising to protect Americans by changing America’s relationship with the world. As president, Mr. Trump has steadfastly implemented policies that promote a new world order both economically and in traditional military alliances. Will President Trump’s “America First” policies permanently alter America’s relationship with our allies and our role in the world? Or, are the changes a temporary anomaly made possible by an unconventional and unique political figure?

U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp

Former Senator from North Dakota, US Senate (2013-2019)

Founder and Chair, One Country Project

CHAIR:

Jack Lopresti MP

Member of Parliament for Filton and Bradley Stoke
