The AGM and Conference is a free event for healthcare insurance intermediaries to attend, featuring presentations from key health insurance industry figures, on topics including the current healthcare insurance market; opportunities for business growth; preparing for the next wave of intermediary regulation; Brexit and international PMI; and opportunities for intermediaries in workplace health screening.

Keynote presenters include Tracy Garrad, Chief Executive of AXA PPP Healthcare, giving one of her first public addresses to an intermediary audience since becoming AXA PPP's Chief Executive in January this year; and Ted Townsend, Strategy Consultant in Private Healthcare, giving the latest healthcare market statistics from LaingBuisson and his thoughts on what is driving growth in the independent healthcare sector.

Also speaking will be Branko Bjelobaba, FCII from Branko Ltd, who will be using his regular compliance update for intermediaries to focus on the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR), which is replacing the Approved Persons Regime for FCA solo-regulated firms from December 2019. Branko will outline the key steps that intermediaries should be taking now to be fully prepared for this key change to how they are regulated.

Carl Laidler, Director of Screening Programmes at Health Shield, will take a look at how healthcare intermediaries can get involved in the growing market of Occupational Health and successfully grow a portfolio of SME and mid-sized corporate clients in this area.
