2016 South Midlands Regional Conference
We have a superb Conference in the making it will take place at the Royal Latin School, Buckingham on the 30th of January 2016. 10:30 till 16:30.
We can promise that no matter which local group you belong to, you'll have an incredible time hearing from inspiring speakers, networking with other activists, all on the theme of LGBTI rights.

10am -10.30am Welcome and Registration.
10.30 – 10.35 Introduction to the day and H&S
35 minutes - 10.35 – 11.10 Kate Allen, Amnesty UK Director, Ruth Bredal Member of the board and Sarah O’Grady – Chair, AIUK Board. Will speak about the International Council Meeting that took place recently in August 2015 and about the latest news and developments within the Amnesty movement globally.
35 minutes - 11:10 - 11:45 - Guest Speaker: Shaun Dellenty, Founder Inclusion For All

35 minutes - 12.10 – 12.45 Edwin Sesange Out and Proud Diamond Group – LGBTI Africans
12.45 – 1.30 Lunch (LGBTI & AI HR Stalls)
1.30 – 1.35 Campaigning for Ihar - Call for action to end obstruction, harassment and intimidation of NGOs working for LGBTI rights and human rights in Belarus.
35 minutes 1.35 – 2:10 Guest Speaker: Susie Green, Chair of Mermaids UK
25 minutes - Main hall - 2:10 to 2:35 - Adrian Henderson from Oxford Amnesty group, Asylum Justice Project be be delivering a workshop on the plight of LGBTI asylum seekers.
2:5 - 15:15 Workshop - Lisa Macready - Local group Recruitment and retention. How can we make our region more successful
35 minutes - 15:15 - 15:55 Shoomi Chowdhury Human Rights Education Officer will be hosting a summing up and closing activity.
15:55– 16:00 Final Comments and Close
