Description

Join us on Saturday 10th August in Elvin Garden at Wembley Park to celebrate the completion of Elvin Gardens and the fantastic amphitheatre space!

Elvin Garden is finally completed, along with an incredible performance and amphitheatre space, so we thought we would celebrate in style and hold a FREE family fun day to mark the occasion.

From 11am to 5pm on Saturday 10th August, Elvin Gardens is going to become a circus wonderland with interactive workshops and exciting storytelling from some very special guests.

Tricks of the Trade

The incredible Matt Bernard will be there to teach your kids all the trick of the trade in his hugely entertaining Circus skills workshop. Featuring an array of wooden circus props including stilts, juggling balls, clubs, diabolos, as well as peacock feathers for balancing and fabric scarves for juggling, the highly-experienced tutor will have your kids as skilled as the Barnum brothers by the end of the work shop.

Modern Cautionary Tales for Children

The one and only Murray Lachlan Young will be performing one of his legendary shows to help us celebrate the occasion. An innovative and group-breaking show, Young mixes poetry, , stand-up comedy, storytelling and a touch of panto, making for an hilarious and positive route to showing children that poetry can be fun, thought-provoking and occasionally quite cool! This show gets children dancing on-stage, completing simple fun poems, being ponies and getting seriously involved in live interactive poetry; a raucous, silly, scary, funny poignant and enlightening hour of merriment and mayhem.

So come along to Elvin Gardens in Wembley Park for a fun and free day out for all the family to enjoy. Bring a picnic and enjoy the wonderfully landscaped gardens and excellent entertainment.
