Are men allowed at Amplify Her events?

→ Yes, men are welcome to attend our live music events to support and champion women, non-binary, and trans people in the music industry.

Can male musicians perform at Amplify Her events?

→ Our live music events feature women, non-binary, and trans artists as the main performers. Male musicians can participate in supporting roles.

Are Amplify Her events inclusive of all music genres?

→ Yes, Amplify Her welcomes all music genres. Our community is diverse, and we encourage musicians from all backgrounds and styles to participate in our events.

What equipment is provided at Amplify Her Open Mics?

→ We provide a PA system, stands, and mics. Performers need to bring their own instruments or backing tracks. Please note that there is no house keyboard available.

How many songs can I perform at an Amplify Her Open Mic?

→ Each performer can share two original songs of any genre, or you may opt for a 7-minute performance of spoken word, poetry, or a musical composition.

How can I secure a slot for the open mic?

Amplify Her Live

Amplify Her live events will feature performances by a diverse lineup of female artists from various genres, ranging from pop and rock to electronic and hip-hop. These events will provide a platform for emerging artists and established musicians to connect with audiences eager to support and celebrate women in music.

In addition to live performances, Amplify Her events include workshops and networking opportunities designed to equip women with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed in the music industry. “ It’s about creating a bridge between the industry and the artists,” says founder Andrea Dee.

Amplify Her is also proud to partner with local organisations and venues that share its commitment to inclusivity and gender equality by collaborating with like-minded entities.
