Meet Our Guest:

Alessia Carassiti is a Business Development Manager at Virgin Music Group, working across the UK, Europe, and internationally. In her role, she focuses on discovering and building relationships with new artists and label partners around the world.

Originally from Italy, Alessia moved to London at 19 to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and Music Management at the London College of Music, University of West London.

Before joining Virgin Music Group (formerly Ingrooves) in February 2023, she gained valuable experience in operations within the design industry for three years.

Alessia is especially passionate about supporting independent artists and growing the indie music scene. She also has a strong interest in mental health within the music industry.

Amplify Her live events will feature performances by a diverse lineup of female artists from various genres, ranging from pop and rock to electronic and hip-hop. These events will provide a platform for emerging artists and established musicians to connect with audiences eager to support and celebrate women in music.

In addition to live performances, Amplify Her events include workshops and networking opportunities designed to equip women with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed in the music industry. “ It’s about creating a bridge between the industry and the artists,” says founder Andrea Dee.
