Understanding research collaboration in scientific teams using a Diversity Approach to Research Evaluation (DARE)

Researchers from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex will present the Diversity Approach to Research Evaluation (DARE) as a new way to think about and analyse research collaborations. DARE places emphasis on understanding how research collaborations draw together diverse individuals, in terms of experience, contexts and background. Participants will be invited to identify and discuss different types of diversity that may have an important role in research collaborations. More information can be found here.

To close off the meeting, Adam Kamenetzky, NIHR Senior Research Fellow, will present results from a literature review and interviews with four leading practitioners on international funder approaches to impact and its assessment.

Contact Jocelyn LeBlanc (J.LeBlanc@amrc.org.uk) or Claire Vaughan (claire.vaughan@nihr.ac.uk) for more information on the event, and Michael Hopkins (M.M.Hopkins@sussex.ac.uk) for more information on DARE.

We hope to see you there!
