The Task
There will be a variety of tasks, including raking and litter picking. Something suitable for everyone
12.00: Arrival on site for task and safety briefing, please don't be late!
12.15: Work begins
14.30: Tea & coffee break
15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!
What to Bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
