An Afternoon of Board Games with Ann & Full Circle Funerals
Connect • Reminisce • Play • Talk (if you want to)
Looking for a unique way to spend an afternoon that’s friendly, inclusive, and just a little bit different? Join Ann and Full Circle Funerals for a welcoming session of board games, good company, and optional conversation.
Ann will be your guide for the day, helping you discover and enjoy a handpicked selection of games from a library of over 600 titles. From well-loved retro favourites to engaging modern classics, there's something for everyone. The best part? No need to worry about reading the rules—Ann will walk you through the games, so you can focus on having fun and connecting with others.
What to Expect:
- A relaxed, informal atmosphere
- A variety of board games to suit all interests and experience levels
- Friendly guidance—no rulebooks required
- Free tea, coffee, and biscuits
- The chance to meet new people and share in light-hearted fun
This event is not a bereavement support group or a ‘death café’, but it is part of Full Circle Funerals’ ongoing efforts to support more open and supportive conversations around death, dying, and bereavement. You don’t have to talk about these topics at all—but if you want to, the space is here for you. You’ll be surrounded by people who are open, understanding, and happy to listen.
Who Might This Appeal To?
- Board Game Enthusiasts: Whether you're a casual player or a devoted fan, this is a chance to enjoy a wide selection of games you might not have tried before—with guidance from someone who knows them inside and out.
- People Seeking Connection: If you're looking to meet others in a warm, inclusive setting, this event offers a low-pressure way to strike up conversations and build new friendships.
- Those Curious About Grief, Loss, or Life Conversations: Maybe you've recently experienced loss, are supporting someone who has, or you're simply interested in how we talk about life and death. This event offers space for gentle, respectful dialogue—only if and when you feel like it.
- Anyone Needing a Break: Life is busy, and grief can be heavy. This afternoon is about creating space to pause, play, and be present.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Whether you’re there for the games, the people, the tea—or a bit of everything—you’ll be made very welcome.
