An Afternoon with Hearing Dogs

- Time: 1:15pm-3:30pm (welcome from 1:15pm, prompt start at 1:30)
- Adult: £10 (online booking only)
- Under 16 £5 (online booking only)
What to expect
- We will show you how, where and why we train cute little puppies that become incredible hearing dogs.
- You’ll also see a demonstration of what our dogs do (it’s impressive, every time), meet some hearing dogs, and find out from our deaf partners how their lives have been changed.
- Refreshments (tea/coffee/squash/cakes) will be available. These are provided free of charge but donations will be welcome.
- You’ll be directly helping to change deaf people’s lives.
- Please note, both adult and children tickets must be booked online and children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult/guardian for the duration of the event.
Some points you might need to bear in mind:
- Much as we love dogs, unfortunately, we cannot allow pet dogs onsite. This is for the health and safety of our own furry friends.
- The event involves some walking around our site and certain parts of the site may be uneven, suitable footwear should be worn. We have Blue Badge parking facilities. If you would like to contact us to discuss accessibility prior to booking a ticket, please email events@hearingdogs.org.uk
- As a charity supporting people with hearing loss, we strive to support all levels of hearing loss. Please let us know if you have any specific requirements when booking.

These events are extremely popular and we’re so grateful to everyone who visits us to learn more about our amazing hearing dogs. If you’ve booked onto an event and can no longer attend, please let us know by emailing events@hearingdogs.org.uk as soon as possible. Please note, if we receive a cancellation with less than 48-hours notice, your ticket fee will be non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.
