An afternoon with Paul Furneaux

This Edinburgh-based artist, born and brought up in the north-east of Scotland, has established an international reputation for his innovatory use of the ancient technique of mokuhanga. The results can be seen in Drum Castle’s current exhibition, Paul Furneaux: North by East, reflecting the development of Furneaux’s art over the last 20 years, strongly influenced by the landscapes of the north (Scotland, Norway) and east (Japan). This afternoon event offers an opportunity to learn first-hand about the artist and his work and perhaps find inspiration for your own ideas!
