Event description

Description

UK Football Industry analyst and consultant Ryan McKnight delivers his research and philosophy on the modern day realities of football fandom in the UK.

The seminar will cover the taboo topics of 'the limited role of ticket price in attendance', the 'homogenisation of clubs', the disaster of 'fan-engagement' and the requirement for a 'knowledge reformation' within UK club fanbases.

McKnight also aims to develop the conversation of how modern day fandom is rapidly reflecting wider social weaknesses/changes and in turn, diluting not only the potential experience of being a supporter but also changing the fabric, strategy and souls of once idenifiable (but now much more generic) clubs.

A must for any supporter who cares about their club and what it means to be a fan of one.
