Join the creator of Grange Hill, Brookside and Hollyoaks for what promises to be a fascinating evening, as Phil hosts a screening of the very first episode of Channel 4’s Brookside, originally transmitted on 2nd November 1982.

Phil will be in conversation with Professor Kirsty Fairclough, Manchester Metropolitan University, discussing his career as a creator-writer-producer, ahead of his keynote speech at Is TV for the Working Class? – Bridging TV’s Class Divide - an industry event devised by Lee Hardman and developed in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University, SODA, Manchester City Council and Creative UK.
