Clerkenwell Culture Club presents a walk through Regent's Canal with Richard Cohen.
Autumn is a beautiful time to explore the quiet waters of the Regent's Canal in Islington. Throughout our walk we will be above or beside the canal. We will see Chapel Market, lovely canal side gardens, the Canal Museum and White Conduit House - a water garden and the home of the modern game of cricket . You will see how the decay of Islington's industrial heritage along the canal has been turned into a green area for recreation and nature conservation. We will look at some of the impressive new developments at King's Place and Granary Square and end our walk at the newly refurbished King's Cross.
Meeting point 3 pm Angel Tube Station.
