About this event

Join us for An evening in the company of Samuel West.

Currently starring as Siegfried Farnon in Channel 5's hugely popular remake of All Creatures Great and Small, Sam has acting in the blood - son of Timothy West and Prunella Scales, he spent his teenage years on the set of Fawlty Towers!

His acclaimed career as an actor, director and narrator has spanned television, film, stage and radio and has seen him gain countless film credits include Van Helsing, Howards End and Notting Hill; on television shows such as The Crown and Mr Selfridge; and seasons at the RSC playing both Hamlet and Richard II.

Sam also has a long running connection to Sheffield as a previous artistic director of Sheffield Theatres and as Patron of Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus.

We'll spend the evening in the company of Sam for what promises to be a fascinating and entertaining conversation.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7:45pm start.

Proceeds will be split between Hallam CLP and the Campaign for the Arts, a non-partisan charity of which Samuel West is a trustee.
