Event description

Description

This show will bring together some of the most highly regarded Americana singer song writers from America, England and Northern Ireland together on the same stage for the first time.

They will play a selection of songs from their past, present and future releases along with sharing the stories behind the songs. Expect to be taken on an exciting musical journey, from foot tappers, to barn stompers, to compassionate and delicate tear jerkers. There's something for everyone with this special show.

Jesse Terry has made it his mission to share his love of music fully and completely, without hiding his emotions. This former Nashville resident has an uncanny ability to weave tales of travel and homecoming, of sorrow and of redemption, into songs that are simultaneously timeless and fresh. A former Grand Prize winner of The John Lennon Song writing Contest he has played over a 1000 shows around the world and released five albums to date.

Emma Stevens This British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist burst onto the scene with her distinctively catchy pop melodies, fused with folk instrumentation and a touch of country. Even if you’ve never heard of her, you will have almost certainly heard her music, with many of her songs used on television programmes including The Apprentice.

Described as “Just Magical” by the late great Sir Terry Wogan. Emma admits she has “an absolute addiction to string instruments”, her music weaves together guitar, banjo, mandolin, piano, cello and ukulele. Her songs are all written from the heart and soul to convey beautiful messages based on feelings of loss, happiness, nature, and her love for the ocean and love for people.

Matt McGinn Hailing from the foothills of the Mourne Mountains Matt has a warm, rasping and powerful voice which he uses to convey his worldly wise lyrics. His music is born from a place of hard working class heroes and is an outstanding blend of soulful passion and melody that will haunt and inspire.

His third solo album, recorded between Nashville, Tennessee, and a farmhouse in Co. Down was released 2018 and was Album of the Week on BBC Radio Ulster with Late Show host, Anthony Toner describing it as, Just amazing.
