Description

A unique, exciting and rarely heard program with classical music composed by 20th century and contemporary Eastern European composers from Serbia, Bulgaria and Armenia, including pieces for piano solo as well as violin and piano duo, viola and soprano, cello and string quartet. The concert will include world premiers of several new works composed by Svetislav Božić, Ivan Brkljačić and the young and wonderfully talented London based Anglo-Armenian composer and filmmaker Richard Melkonian who amongst numerous prizes was also awarded the Armenian Genneral Benevolent Union (AGBU) Sayat Nova Competition Prize and as a result of it his piece "Andastan" has been performed at the Symphony Hall in New York in 2015. The evening will also include favourite gems, works by Vasilije Mokranjac, Pancho Vladigerov and Arno Babajanian, played by:
