Join us for a thrilling evening of book discussion with crime author, Penny Batchelor.
Penny's debut domestic noir thriller, 'My Perfect Sister', was published in 2020 was recently longlisted for The Guardian's 'Not The Booker Prize'. The book follows the main character Annie as she revisits her childhood home, confronting dark secrets from her past that refuse to stay hidden. Haunted by the disappearance of her sister, Annie hunts for clues and the truth but is it safer for things to remain a mystery?
Penny is an alumna of the Faber Academy online ‘Writing a Novel’ course. She is a freelance journalist, a former BBC content producer and website editor for various educational institutions, and lives in Warwickshire with her husband.
She will be joining us to talk about her writing and publishing journey and is currently working on her second novel.
