Join the Leeds Library for the online launch of three new titles from Candlestick Press

About this event

Join Candlestick Press, The Leeds Library and a host of guest poets to celebrate the launch of three brand new titles. Ten Poems from the Countryside, Ten Poems about Getting Older and Ten Poems about Work – each edited by a leading contemporary poet – embrace delightfully contrasting themes. Expect wit, wisdom and moments of pure, unabashed rhapsody!

Alongside Jonathan Edwards, Sean Hewitt and John McCullough, our distinguished readers are Liz Berry, Kayo Chingonyi, Gillian Clarke, Mark Granier, Helen Mort, Alasdair Paterson, Elvire Roberts, Judith Shaw, Kathryn Simmonds and Jackie Wills.

Entry is free but please register in advance to book your place here on Eventbrite and you will be emailed a Zoom link to the event at 5.30pm on Monday 5th July and again at 5.00pm on Tuesday 6th July when registration closes.

There is an option to donate with all proceeds going to the Leeds Library.
