Join historian Amy Jeffs, illustrator Gwen Burns, alongside musician and composer Natalie Brice for a special evening of storytelling and music to celebrate the release of Old Songs, an enthralling reimagining of traditional folk ballads.
Old Songs intertwines short stories, histories, lyrics and illustrations in a beautiful and evocative reimagining of traditional ballads. Sunday Times Bestselling historian Amy Jeffs and Illustrator Gwen Burns combine forces to create a rich compendium, singing of mystery, magic and, above all, humanity.
As well as discussing the rich folk history and musical significance of the music featured in Old Songs, we are delighted that Amy, Gwen and Natalie will be performing new and traditional arrangements of ballads live at this event.
