Event description

Description

All are welcome to spend an evening listening to the multi-faceted Bill Turnbull. An entertaining and amusing speaker, Bill woke up the country from the BBC sofa for many years; he has presented the news on TV and radio and, as a BBC correspondent, has reported from more than 30 countries. With a TV quiz show, a well-known TV dancing competition, writing and a passion for beekeeping also amongst his many credits and interests, Bill will be “strictly” one of this year’s highlights!

The evening will include a Q & A with Bill and there will also be a prize raffle, book sales and signing.

Doors open at 6.45 pm. Coffee bar will be open before the performance for the sale of soft and hot drinks.

Ample free car parking is available at the venue, including disabled spaces in front of the building. Seating is unreserved. Please contact us if you have any mobility issues and need easy access to a seat and we will do our best to reserve a seat at the end of a row/flat surface.

Please have your paper ticket ready on entry and hope you enjoy the evening!

This event is organised by CFWI and is open to the public - all are welcome.
