About this event

Arts • Musical

As the Kurt Cobain exhibition draws to a close, join us at London’s prestigious Royal College of Music for an evening of Martin Guitar conversation and music with Chairman of the Board Chris Martin IV and Martin ambassador Craig Thatcher.

Hear Chris tell the fascinating story of his company’s history & the C.F. Martin innovations that have defined the contemporary acoustic guitar. Discover how these incredible guitars have inspired legendary songwriters and performers, helping shape modern music as we know it, with Craig Thatcher accompanying on guitar.

For those who would also like to visit the Cobain exhibition and get the rare opportunity to see up-close the actual Martin D-18E played by Kurt during Nirvana’s celebrated MTV Unplugged performance (as well as the cardigan he wore!) we have secured tickets for the museum's last two slots of the day - 3pm and 4pm. These will be provided to our guests at no charge on a first come first served basis.

So why not come up to town, see the exhibition, grab a bite to eat or do some shopping and return for the main event ?

6.30pm doors for a prompt 7pm start, 8.30pm finish.

We look forward to seeing you there!
