Join author Christina Fonthes as she discusses her stunning debut novel Where you Go, I Will Go. A sweeping novel that takes us from 1980s Kinshasa to 2000s London, this vital novel explores familial legacies and queer lives.

Christina Fonthes is a Congolese-British writer and the founder of REWRITE, an organisation that supports and champions Black women and women of colour writers. In 2021, she won the RSL Sky Arts Writers Award for Fiction, and was mentored by Bernardine Evaristo and Irenosen Okojie. She lives in London.

Irenosen Okojie is a Nigerian British author whose work pushes the boundaries of form, language and ideas. She was a judge for the 2023 Women’s Prize for Fiction. Vice Chair of the Royal Society of Literature, she was awarded an MBE For Services to Literature in 2021. She is the director and founder of Black to the Future festival.
