An Evening with Domaine Evremond

Step into our Canterbury store on Thursday 18th December from 5-6pm for an intimate evening with Patrick McGrath, who will share the remarkable story behind Domaine Evremond – the first Champagne house to plant vineyards in British soil.

Following Patrick's talk, our wine experts will guide you through a tasting of their exceptional sparkling wines, explaining what makes each one special and how they compare to their French counterparts.

Domaine Evremond represents a watershed moment for English wine. Born from a friendship between Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and Patrick McGrath, it brings together Taittinger's centuries of Champagne expertise with the perfect growing conditions of the Kentish countryside. When these visionaries joined forces with Hatch Mansfield to plant their first vines in 2017, they weren't just starting a vineyard – they were making history.
