An Evening with... Giles Pilbrow

Join us for the Evening with...Giles Pilbrow, animator, TV Producer, Cartoonist and co-writer of the UK's funniest satirical magazine - Private Eye.

Giles is the Show Runner for hit cbbc stop-frame animation Scream Street – he is responsible for seeing all 52 of the 10-minute episodes through from concept through to finished product. His roles include writing, script-editing, and voice-directing.

He created Newzoids for itv. The satire show is an innovative mix of low-tech puppetry and high-tech animation, requiring a very quick turnaround for its topical deadlines. He is Series Producer, Lead Writer, Script Editor, and Voice Director.

Giles was the Animation and Puppet Director, Lead Writer and Script Editor on five series of the multi-Bafta award-winning cbbc series Horrible Histories.

Last but not least: Writer / Producer credits include Have I Got News For You, GoryGames, Mock the Week, Spitting Image and 2DTV, as well as directing the George Michael animated video: Shoot the Dog.

Giles will do some Q&As after the talk, so get all your questions ready!
