What's the nearest tube?

The Church is a ten to fifteen minute walk from Eastcote Station, which is on both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. Turn right out of the station and walk along Field End Road past all the shops, turning right at the roundabout into Bridle Road. The Church is just on the right.

Will there be refreshments?

Light refreshments will be served.

The Church has a small car park including disabled bays but there is also on-street parking along Bridle Road and in other streets nearby.

Is the venue on a bus route?

The church is on bus routes 282 - stop is opposite Eastcote Station. Get off at Bridle Road.

An Evening with H.E. Lelung Rinpoche & Prof. Robert (Bob) Thurman

Prof. Robert Thurman is a charismatic speaker and author of many books on Tibet, Buddhism, art, politics and culture. He first saw H.H the Dalai Lama in 1962 and has been a long-time friend, founding Tibet House US at His Holiness’s request in 1987.

He has also long been a friend of His Eminence Lelung Rinpoche and speaks warmly and knowledgeably about the Lelung lineage, as you’ll hear in the video below.
