House of Voltaire is unlike any store you will see on the high street. Selling unique artworks, limited edition prints and specially commissioned homewares, clothing and accessories by leading contemporary artists and designers, all proceeds support the charity's renowned exhibition and education programmes. Temporary stores showcasing new collections pop-up in London, and internationally throughout the year.
The story of House of Voltaire is an inspiring one, demonstrating how public institutions can be entrepreneurial and work directly with artists and designers to create sustainable sources of income. House of Voltaire not only raises money for the organisation but it raises the profile of the gallery internationally and has proved to be an invaluable recruitment opportunity for new supporters and sponsorships.
For over twenty years, Studio Voltaire has championed emerging and underrepresented artists, offering an alternative and agenda-setting view of contemporary art through its renowned programme of exhibitions, performances, events and education projects as well as providing affordable studios.
