Finchley Church End Library Presents an Evening with Johana Gustawsson, Leigh Russell & Louise Voss Moderated by Anne Grydehøj on Monday 15th October 2018

Johana Gustawsson was born in Marseille, France and married to a Swede, she has a degree in political science, worked as a journalist for the French press and television. She was the co-author of the bestseller, On se retrouvera, published by Fayard Noir in France, whose television adaptation drew over 7 million viewers in June 2015. Her second novel 'Keeper' in the Roy & Castells series was published in 2018.

The grim detection is carried out by two strong women. Emily Roy is a profiler, lent to Scotland Yard by the Canadian Mounties; her friend Alexis Castells is a French writer of true-crime. They make a terrific, original duo. They have a future Marcel Berlins, The Times

Leigh Russell writes the internationally bestselling crime series featuring police detectives Geraldine Steel and Ian Peterson, which have sold over a million copies. She also writes the mystery series featuring investigative reporter Lucy Hall. Her latest novel is Class Murder, the tenth DI Geraldine Steel investigation. The Adulterer’s Wife is Leigh’s first stand-alone novel, published by Bloodhound Books

Louise Voss has an MA in Creative Writing and works as a literary consultant and mentor for writers. She is a proud member of two female crime-writing collectives, The Slice Girls and Killer Women. She has had twelve novels published in total, five solo and six co-written, a combination of psychological thrillers, police procedurals and contemporary fiction. Her twelfth, The Old You, was published in 2018 by Orenda Books.

The talk will cover Johana’s, Leigh’s & Louise’s current books 'Keeper' 'The Adulterer's Wife' & 'The Old You', and what inspires them to write such gripping stories followed by a ten-minute Q&A session, with a mystery prize for the best question.
