About this event

We are delighted to launch Imposter Syndrome, the highly anticipated thriller from bestselling author and Deansgate alumnus Joseph Knox.

An out-of-luck con artist gets the gig of a lifetime, as a wealthy family hires him to impersonate their dead son in this ingenious, page-turning thriller from the author of True Crime Story. A dark novel of outsiders looking in, much like its award-winning predecessor, Imposter Syndrome takes the reader on a dizzying journey into a landscape where the difference between fact and fiction is almost impossible to distinguish.

Joseph Knox joins us to dicuss his new novel and answer audience quesions, followed by a signing.

About the Author

Former bookseller and crime and thriller buyer, Joseph Knox was born and raised in and around Stoke and Manchester, where he worked in bars and bookshops before moving to London. Now living in Shropshire, Joseph runs, reads and writes compulsively. His debut novel Sirens was a bestseller and has been translated in to eighteen languages. His latest, True Crime Story, was a major critical success and award winner.
