Join us for an evening of epic historical fiction with Ken Follett as we celebrate publication of his latest novel Circle of Days. Ken will be in conversation with fellow author Dan Jones as they discuss this rich tale about the construction of Stonehenge, as the divided tribes of the Great Plain struggle to suppress their enmity whilst building the iconic monument.

Ken Follett is one of the world’s best-loved authors. More than 198 million copies of the thirty-eight books he has written have been sold in over eighty countries and in forty languages. Ken’s first major success came with the publication of Eye of the Needle in 1978, which earned him the 1979 Edgar Award for Best Novel from the Mystery Writers of America. In 1989, The Pillars of the Earth, Ken’s epic novel about the building of a medieval cathedral, reached number one on bestseller lists everywhere. It was turned into a major television series produced by Ridley Scott, which aired in 2010.

Dan Jones is the Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling author of many non-fiction books, including The Plantagenets, The Templars and Powers and Thrones. He is a renowned writer, broadcaster and journalist. He has presented dozens of TV shows, including the Netflix series Secrets of Great British Castles, and writes and hosts the podcast This is History. His debut novel, Essex Dogs, is the first in a series following the fortunes of ordinary soldiers in the early years of the Hundred Years’ War. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.

Please note: Book and ticket option includes a copy of Circle of Days (RRP. £25) available for collection at the event.
