This is a free, virtual event, with poems and conversation from Seán Hewitt, Kostya Tsolakis and Mícheál McCann. The event will be held over Zoom, and a link to join the event will be sent closer to the date of the reading.

About the poets:

Mícheál McCann is from Derry. His poems appear or are forthcoming in The Manchester Review, Poetry Ireland Review, Banshee Lit and fourteen poems. His first pamphlet of poems, Safe Home, was published by Green Bottle Press in 2020, and he is the co-editor of Hold Open the Door published by UCD Press that same year. He lives in Belfast.

Kostya Tsolakis is a London-based poet and journalist born and raised in Athens, Greece. He is co-poetry editor at Ambit and founding editor of harana poetry, the online magazine for poets writing in English as a second or parallel language. In 2019 he won the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition, ESL category. His pamphlet Ephebos is out with ignitionpress.

Seán Hewitt is a poet, lecturer and literary critic. His debut collection, Tongues of Fire (Cape, 2020), was shortlisted for The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. In 2019, he won an Eric Gregory Award, and he is also the winner of the Resurgence Prize, 2017. His memoir, All Down Darkness Wide, will be published in 2022.
