An Evening with Lamp & Friends 2020
Event Information
About this Event
We're not going to let 2020 end without our usual November event.
So, join us for An Evening with Lamp & Friends 2020 on November 26th 2020.
Hosted by and with a performance from Lamp's fabulous Patron Rob Gee, we'll be joined by 4 additional acts bringing us music and hopefully a few laughs!
After the success of last year's kindness awards, these will be handed out again for 2020, to those who have gone above and beyond to support Lamp this year.
Acts confirmed below.
INTRODUCING THE ACTS....
Lamp is thrilled to announce that the first act to be confirmed for our Evening with Lamp & Friends is none other than Lamp's Patron and comic poet Rob Gee.
Rob will host the evening as well as perform some of his original poetry.
If you haven't already come across Rob and his hilariously funny talent, here's an intro and his website for more info:
Rob's live act uses a heady combination of poetry, comedy, storytelling and theatre to explore the world of chaos and adventure that lurks behind the veneer of everyday life.
Rob first acquired a taste for the stage playing King Herod in the school nativity. He started writing poetry when fronting punk rock bands as a teenager.
Based in Leicester, UK, he's performed over three thousand shows, regularly appears on BBC Radio, and is sometimes sent into schools as a warning to children.

Thanks so much for stopping by- I am a proud champion of kindness, wonder, hope, joy and FUN! I write books and perform original and traditional stories everywhere- including cabarets, sheltered housing, schools, parks, gardens, forests, vintage clothes shops, launderettes, beaches, in peoples beds, once even inside a Police Box! I love being outside and can often be found in the woods. I write stories on walls, chalk poetry onto pavements and leave magical notes inside strangers pockets. https://www.bernadetterussell.com/
