Join us for an intimate evening with the incomparable historian, author and presenter, Lucy Worsley.

For one night only, Lucy will discuss writing and researching her two novels for young readers, Eliza Rose and My Name is Victoria – which reveal all about life behind closed doors at Hampton Court and Kensington Palace. And share some of her favourite historical periods to visit and there will even be a trivia quiz for budding historians!

By day, Lucy is Chief Curator at Historic Royal Palaces - the independent charity that looks after The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace State Apartments, the Banqueting House in Whitehall, and Kew Palace in Kew Gardens - an author of children's books with Blomsbury Childrens and historical non-fiction. By night, she is a writer and presenter for the BBC. She has fronted programmes including The First Georgians: The German Kings Who Made Britain, A Very British Romance and co-presented Dancing Cheek to Cheek: An Intimate History of Of Dance.

My Name is Victoria and Eliza Rose, by Lucy Worsley, are both published by Bloomsbury Childrens.

FORMAT: Doors open and drinks served from 6pm. Presentation by Lucy and Q&A from 6:30pm to 7:45pm.
