Artist Pete McKee will be hosting a talk about his artwork, life and influences as part of 'A Pete McKee Celebration' at Esquires Music Venue in Bedford. It's an opportunity to get to know Pete and ask questions about what life is like as a beloved artist from Sheffield.
From his humble roots as working as postman and part time cartoonist to working with some of music and fashion's biggest names like Paul Smith and Noel Gallagher. Pete has an inspirational story to tell of how he kept working to get to where he is today as an artist.
Artwork from Pete's most recent exhibition 'The Boy With a Leg Named Brian' will be exhibited at Esquires prior to this from 11-4, so this chat gives you insight into the man behind the paintings.
The bar will also be open in preparation for Pete's band The Everly Pregnant Brothers who will be performing live after the talk. Join Pete for a chat and a pint beforehand!
